Seven Days and Counting!

In seven short days, 26 members and friends of Birmingham First United Methodist Church will return to Costa Rica for a two week Volunteers in Mission work trip!  Although many are repeat team members, we are excited to have many newbie on this trip as well.  Our first week will be dedicated to finishing work on the parsonage at the Methodist Church In Mansiones, a beautiful church that holds a very special place in the hearts of many on our team.  After a short weekend of R+R, we will return to the Methodist Children's Home where we expect to work on the foundation of the second home.  We look forward to working with the beautiful children as we host several after-school bible school sessions, playing and crafting with the children while sharing the love of Jesus ... all in Spanish, of course!  Check back regularly and follow us through this amazing experience as we travel to Costa Rica and become the hands and feet of Jesus for two short weeks!
